Patek Philippe Square Ref 2422 in Platinum Case from 1947 Accompanied by Original Extract of Archives Document

A very rare and refined squared Patek Philippe Calatrava ref. 2422 cased in platinum. The snap back case presents a beautiful stepped bezel and vivid platinum hallmarks on case side and behind the lug. Despite the reduced case size the long spider lugs truly amplify this piece, making it a unique classy wear even nowadays. The silvered dial presents arabic enamel and applied white gold baton numerals and small seconds at hour 6. Both dial and case are preserved in exceptional conditions and are embellished by a beautiful white gold bracelet. It's accompained by the original extract of archives document by Patek Philippe. Displayed on a 7.3 inch / 18.5 cm wrist. NOTE: Some marks or spots on the dial are reflections or dust on the crystal and are due to high intensity lighting used while photographing. They are imperceptible to the human eye with normal lighting. Marks or scratches on the dial will be stated priorly.
